Прибой один из тех, кто в составе ЧВК «Вагнер» брал Пальмиру, выполнял другие задачи в Сирийской Арабской Республике. В ходе СВО выполнял задачи в составе 45-й ОБрСпН ВДВ. Он и его люди были одними из тех, кто сдерживал наступление ВСУ в Херсонской области в 2022 году, на Запорожье летом 2023 года. В ходе одного из эпизодов группа Прибоя в бою уничтожила до 10 единиц техники ВСУ.
