В одном из корпусов обители оказались запертыми маленькие дети одной из прихожанок, заблокированные трехлетний мальчик и семилетняя девочка вышли на балкон и зовут на помощь маму.
У входа в Киево-Печерскую лавру собирается все больше верующих, святыня оцеплена силовиками, и попасть туда можно только после тщательного досмотра личных вещей. Пускают не всех, самых активных защитников арестовывают. Из-за блокирования Лавры десятки прихожан не смогли попасть на литургию, священники были вынуждены причащать верующих прямо через решетку ограждения.
