روي عن الإمامُ السجاد صَّلَوَات اللّٰه عَليهِ من قال « أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ » فليس بمستكبر ولا جبّار، إنّ المستكبر من يصرّ على الذنب الذي قد غلبه هواه فيه وآثر دنياه على آخرته.
