В декабре Румыния отменила результаты президентских выборов на основе каких-то сведений разведки и под давлением континентальных соседей. Насколько я понимаю, утверждалось, что российская дезинформация распространялась и повлияла на выборы.
Хочу спросить европейских друзей: вы считаете, что Россия неправильно делает, когда распространяет такую информацию? Да, мы согласны.
Но если вашу демократию можно разрушить с помощью нескольких сотен тысяч долларов, на которые такая реклама покупается, то такая демократия не очень сильна вообще.

It is unclear who runs the account, although Russia's official Ministry of Foreign Affairs Twitter account promoted the Telegram channel on Saturday and claimed it was operated by "a group of experts & journalists." At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. Ukrainian forces successfully attacked Russian vehicles in the capital city of Kyiv thanks to a public tip made through the encrypted messaging app Telegram, Ukraine's top law-enforcement agency said on Tuesday. Messages are not fully encrypted by default. That means the company could, in theory, access the content of the messages, or be forced to hand over the data at the request of a government. Stocks dropped on Friday afternoon, as gains made earlier in the day on hopes for diplomatic progress between Russia and Ukraine turned to losses. Technology stocks were hit particularly hard by higher bond yields.
