Стимулом стал теракт в кабульском образовательном центре. После разгона талибами митинга "Остановите геноцид хазарейцев" в другой части афганской столицы, у Кабульского университета, собрались студентки, которые скандировали "Безопасность - наше право" и "Смерть организаторам геноцида" (1). Шествий по улицам они не устраивали, поэтому, вероятно, талибы* это действо проигнорировали.

Пройтись по улицам в лозунгом "Образование - наше право" решила толпа студенток Гератского университета (2), разбежавшись после того, как талибы открыли огонь в воздух (3). Без эксцессов прошел митинг в Бамиане, где призвали "не убивать людей науки и знания" (4). Там же провели поминальный обряд со свечами (5)
