Новыми подробностями судебной практики талибов* в отношении своих пропагандистов делится «Хизб ут-Тахрир»**: в Кандагаре суд первой инстанции приговорил 15 членов группировки к пожизненному заключению, пока они не откажутся от своих взглядов о необходимости восстановления всемирного халифата. В «Хизб ут-Тахрир» возмущены наказанием за предписанные шариатом (по их мнению) действия при том, что ООН и НПО свободно ведут в Афганистане подрывную работу против ислама.

Some people used the platform to organize ahead of the storming of the U.S. Capitol in January 2021, and last month Senator Mark Warner sent a letter to Durov urging him to curb Russian information operations on Telegram. A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts.
