Любопытно, что, например, в 50-е годы одна корова давала на тюменских фермах в среднем чуть более 1 200 килограммов молока за год. Сегодня по обеспеченности молоком на душу населения Тюменская область занимает первое место среди регионов УФО. На одного жителя области приходится 245 кг молока. Для сравнения 20 лет назад эта цифра была в полтора раза меньше.
