Точна дата виготовлення та прийняття на озброєння не відома, але це приблизно на початку 2010х років. Ціль заміни попереднього патерну полягала в тому, щоб бути більш схожими на своїх партнерів з НАТО, але в той же час бути більш відповідним до словенської місцевості.

Цю задачу на себе взяла компанія UFPRO яка і розробила даний патер. На відміну від Multicam, в Slocam переважає зелений колір.

На останньому фото можна побачити більш наочну різницю від Multicam.

Subsequently, control of the company was reportedly handed to oligarchs Alisher Usmanov and Igor Sechin, both allegedly close associates of Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
