В пятницу 7 июня на авиабазе Сувон ВВС Республики Корея прошла церемония вывода из состава флота последних истребителей McDonnell Douglas Phantom II.
На мероприятии присутствовали министр национальной обороны г-н Шин Вок Сик и руководство ВВС Республики Корея. Церемония включала в себя поминовение погибших экипажей "Фантомов", поздравления и символическая церемонию а также самый последний "боевой" вылет двух F-4.
Всего ВВС Южной Кореи эксплуатировали около 200 «Фантомов» в трёх различных модификациях: F-4D, RF-4C и F-4E. Первыми, в 1969 году, поступили на вооружение F-4D, переданные из состава ВВС США по программе «Peace Spectator». Позже, в 1977 году, в рамках программы «Peace Pheasant II» США поставили в Южную Корею истребители модификации F-4E.

A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. "Your messages about the movement of the enemy through the official chatbot … bring new trophies every day," the government agency tweeted.
