Вопрос не в том, что не надо бороться с коррупцией, а в том, чтобы не превращать парламент в синекуру для отставников из других ветвей власти, или хотя бы ввести период «передержки» после отставки с госдолжности и перед назначением в Сенат или перед контролируемым избранием в Госдуму, чтобы правоохранительные органы могли провести аудит и подтвердить отсутствие претензий по предыдущему месту работы.
И вообще, бывший губернатор не обязательно хороший законодатель, как Incitatus не смог бы выполнять обязанности консула – эта работа требует других навыков и качеств, а потому перевод ветеранов госуправления на политическое дожитие в парламент я не поддерживаю.
