A Maronite priest (Fr. Elie Mishalani) had his home shot at, another Maronite priest (Fr. Majdi Allawi) had his home set on fire a short while ago.
1 and 2 are undoubtedly Syrian Sunni refugees who harbor extreme animosity to Christianity that is somehow politically incorrect to talk about even in Lebanon. 3 is probably Shiites, as Fr. Majdi Allawi is an ex-Shiite convert to Christianity. They have been plotting against him for years.

Continuing its crackdown against entities allegedly involved in a front-running scam using messaging app Telegram, Sebi on Thursday carried out search and seizure operations at the premises of eight entities in multiple locations across the country. Elsewhere, version 8.6 of Telegram integrates the in-app camera option into the gallery, while a new navigation bar gives quick access to photos, files, location sharing, and more.
