Today, we celebrate the launch of 4 new model schools in #Socotra 📚
Funded & executed by #SDRPY, the Model Schools Project included furnishing all schools, providing technological equipment & creating a supportive environment that promotes classroom & extracurricular activities.

The launch was attended by representatives from #SDRPY and the #Yemeni government; SDRPY’s Eng. Hassan Al-Attas, Socotra’s deputy governor Brig. Gen. Saleh Socotri, & General Supervisor of Socotra’s Education Office, Mr. Ahmed Al-Thaqali attended the launch.
The newly opened schools in Socotra are a continuation of #SDRPY’s Model Schools Project, which, to date, has launched schools in #Hadhramout, #Aden, #Marib, #Hajjah, & #AlMahrah, to increase & ease access to education across #Yemen for all.

‏The newly rehabilitated “Martyr Ali Asaad Muthanna Sports Hall” in ⁦ #Aden⁩ is the newest hot spot for youth & young adults to gather and engage in sport.
