Сегодня архитектурный пост про многофункциональное здание из 1970х

/Здание Golden Mile Complex построено в 1973 году. Называется в народе "Маленький Тайланд" из-за большого количества тайских ресторанов.

/ На этом месте была малоэтажная застройка, которую массово сносили в 1960-х ради "нового качества жилья".

/Авторы здания - местные архитекторы с западным образованием. Gan Eng Oon, William Lim and Tay Kheng Soon, орагнизовавшие бюро DP Architects (кстати, работает до сих пор)

/ Дизайн уж очень напоминает британский. William Lim явно вдохновлялся своими старшими товарищами по учёбе в Британии и США. Посмотрите на Brunswick Centre (Patrick Hodgkinson) или Alexandra Road Estate - Нива Брауна.  Ну, вдохновляли его товарищи,что уж))

Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts.
