Военнослужащий с целью временно уклониться от прохождения военной службы, желая отдохнуть от исполнения служебных обязанностей, 3 мая 2023 года самовольно оставил расположение воинской части и убыл в Красноярский край. 22 августа 2023 года Урманов был задержан сотрудниками полиции. 25 марта 2024 года Урманов без уважительных причин не явился на службу в воинскую часть. 9 сентября Урманов прибыл в военный следственный отдел.
Суд назначил Урманову наказание в виде лишения свободы в колонии общего режима на срок 6 лет.
