Ученые Арктического и антарктического научно-исследовательского института вместе с коллегами из Бразилии, Аргентины, Китая, Чили, Индии и Перу на протяжении двух месяцев проводили научные работы по изучению Южного континента.
За 69 дней экспедиция преодолела более 13 тыс. морских миль, обогнула Антарктиду и посетила 8 антарктических станций: бразильскую станцию Команданте Феррас, индийскую станцию Маитри, две китайские станции — Чжуншань и Грейт Уолл, четыре российские станции — Прогресс, Мирный, Новолазаревская и Беллинсгаузен.

The news also helped traders look past another report showing decades-high inflation and shake off some of the volatility from recent sessions. The Nasdaq Composite tumbled 2.2% to 12,843.81. Though all three indexes opened in the green, stocks took a turn after a new report showed U.S. consumer sentiment deteriorated more than expected in early March as consumers' inflation expectations soared to the highest since 1981.
