Президент Южной Кореи Юн Сок Ёль посетил три страны Центральной Азии и подписал ряд соглашений. Это турне стало еще одним примером обновленной внешней политике Сеула, направленной на диверсификацию источников сырья.
Перед началом турне Юн Сок Ёль объявил об амбициозном проекте под названием «К-Шелковый путь» (Корейский шелковый путь). Цель программы — предоставить богатым ресурсами странам технологии и инвестиции в обмен на сырье. Визит в Туркменистан, Казахстан и Узбекистан стал удачным первым шагом в реализации этого проекта.
Следует отметить также, что за неделю до этого президент провел саммит с представителям 48 государств Африки, с той же самой целью, договориться о поставках сырья в обмен на технологии и инвестиции.
Новая политика Южной Кореи позволяет Центральной Азии найти еще одного партнера, чтобы не зависеть исключительно от Китая и России.
До этого Юн Сок Ёль постарался укрепить союз с США, а также с Японией.

But Kliuchnikov, the Ukranian now in France, said he will use Signal or WhatsApp for sensitive conversations, but questions around privacy on Telegram do not give him pause when it comes to sharing information about the war. Just days after Russia invaded Ukraine, Durov wrote that Telegram was "increasingly becoming a source of unverified information," and he worried about the app being used to "incite ethnic hatred." Given the pro-privacy stance of the platform, it’s taken as a given that it’ll be used for a number of reasons, not all of them good. And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations.
