Только что из типографии пришла новинка нашего издательства — книга воспоминаний Давида Маркиша «Записки из прошлого времени», и это, мне кажется, одна из важнейших книг, изданных нами (хотя они все важные, чего уж).
Это собрание рассказов Давида о его потрясающей жизни, от общения с Ахматовой до поисков снежного человека и от первого послевоенного лета до покорения Памира, всего не перечислишь. Это его живая речь — неподражаемые интонации, едкий юмор, саркастичный, но всегда доброжелательный взгляд на окружающий мир, это не проходящий неподдельный интерес к жизни как таковой.
Счастлив, что мы сделали эту книгу. Приходите за ней, упоительное и совершенно душеспасительно чтение.

Ukrainian forces successfully attacked Russian vehicles in the capital city of Kyiv thanks to a public tip made through the encrypted messaging app Telegram, Ukraine's top law-enforcement agency said on Tuesday. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform.
