Британские беспилотные автобусы Aurrigo Auto-Shuttle начали тестировать на улицах Праги.

Такие автобусы также курсируют в Брно (Чехия) и Милтон-Кинсе (Великобритания). Чтобы ориентироваться в пространстве, они используют лазерные дальномеры, а также камеры и ПО, разработанное Aurrigo.

Пока что в кабине автобуса находится человек, который возьмет на себя управление, если у беспилотной системы случится сбой. Но скоро его заменит диспетчер, который также будет следить за работоспособностью автопилота, но издалека, физически не находясь в машине.

Одновременно с этим компания работает над полностью автономным вариантом и при этом надеется научить пассажиров пользоваться автобусом без водителя.
