Местные и вызванные из соседних районов сотрудники полиции, по его данным, массово задерживали людей. Вечером того же дня в Имишли на виду населения по центральным улицам двигалась колонна автотехники с солдатами внутренних войск, сопровождаемая броневиками. Сегодня в Имишли фактически режим необъявленного чрезвычайного положения, массовых волнений не наблюдается.
