The task is to redesign the Telegram chat screen and attachment menu on Android. To take part, send one or more PNG documents with the redesigned chat screen to @design_bot. In addition, send a video document demonstrating how you envision the redesigned attachment menu should work (with an emphasis on sharing photos and videos).
We will look for simplicity, usability, consistency when judging the results. If necessary, feel free to change all the colors of the chat UI, including the default background.
We’ll accept new designs up until the 24th of March. We’ll announce one or more winners (depending on the overall quality of mockups submitted) and distribute $15000 among the winners as prizes in the final week of March.

Official government accounts have also spread fake fact checks. An official Twitter account for the Russia diplomatic mission in Geneva shared a fake debunking video claiming without evidence that "Western and Ukrainian media are creating thousands of fake news on Russia every day." The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation. In addition, Telegram now supports the use of third-party streaming tools like OBS Studio and XSplit to broadcast live video, allowing users to add overlays and multi-screen layouts for a more professional look. The gold standard of encryption, known as end-to-end encryption, where only the sender and person who receives the message are able to see it, is available on Telegram only when the Secret Chat function is enabled. Voice and video calls are also completely encrypted. "This time we received the coordinates of enemy vehicles marked 'V' in Kyiv region," it added. Right now the digital security needs of Russians and Ukrainians are very different, and they lead to very different caveats about how to mitigate the risks associated with using Telegram. For Ukrainians in Ukraine, whose physical safety is at risk because they are in a war zone, digital security is probably not their highest priority. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders.
