Ранее сообщалось, что в Турцию контрабандно были ввезены поддельные банкноты, предположительно на $600 млн. Значительная часть из них имеет номинал $50, в связи с чем обменные пункты и банки временно прекратили операции с этими банкнотами, а также купюрами $100 старого образца.
По данным экспертов, основная часть фальшивых долларов была ввезена в Турцию из Сирии, Ирана, с Балкан.
Кто именно, какая страна или чьи спецслужбы провели подобную спецоперацию по подрыву экономики Турции неизвестно.
