07.10.2024г он был допрошен, однако о чем он рассказал, тоже остаётся загадкой, так как он сразу попросил закрыть процесс от СМИ и слушателей. Кузнецов сослался на то, что пресса однобоко освещает дело, а он опасается за свою репутацию. [Ну почему же, всем хочется знать правду, не так ли?] Против закрытия процесса возразила защита, а сами фигуранты уличили Кузнецова в представлении заведомо ложной информации еще до дачи показаний. Суд удовлетворил просьбу Кузнецова и опять закрыл процесс.
