Ровно год назад в рамках мастер-плана "Добрая улица", разработанного "Центром развития городской среды", в Южно-Сахалинске был установлен первый быстровозводимый (60 минут) островок безопасности.
Островок безопасности решает следующие задачи:
- обеспечивает встречный треугольник видимости
- обеспечивает зональное снижение скорости за счет локального сужения проезжей части
- обеспечивает безопасное и поэтапное пересечение улицы инвалидам, родителям с коляской, пешеходам с велосипедом
- согласно международной практике приводит к снижению травматизма на 50% и на 67% снижает смертность среди пешеходов.
Чуть позже поговорим о том, почему при поддержке мэра города Сергея Надсадина и ГИБДД этот мастер-план начали реализовывать, и каких результатов мы смогли достигнуть за 2020-2021 год.
