Перше і найголовніше, бо, по-перше, будь-яка тінь від іншого обʼєкту нам доступна апріорі, по-друге, тінь - це відсутність світла «десь», а наш візуальний канал сприймає саме світло.

Тому завжди шукайте тінь і перебувайте в ній, це найпростіший і найсильніший маскувальний ефект, навіть якщо Ви проґавите всі наступні пункти.

Не забуваємо, що це «концепція», а не пряма інструкція, як маскуватися. Зараз намагатимусь навести декілька прикладів, як це використовувати:

1. Заходячи в кімнату, ми намагаємось зробити багато ТІНІ, затягнувши штори, і стояти в темному коридорі(фото 1,2,3)
2. Іти полем швидше до позиції, ніж іти під ТІННЮ дерев, але безпечніше (інколи швидше, звичайно, і безпечніше) (фото 5)
3. Бути в глибині бліндажу і в ТІНІ - це краще, ніж роздивлятися щось біля бійниці (фото 7)
4. Висвітлювати ті ділянки, на обличчі які ТЕМНІ, і заТЕМНЮВАТИ світлі ділянки обличчя під час гриму( фото 4)
