От Паралимпиады к Сурдлимпиаде. Сенатор от ХМАО Эдуард Исаков призвал провести альтернативные Сурдлимпийские игры для российских и белорусских спортсменов. Это предложение он аргументировал тем, что обе национальные сборные были не допущены к участию в, которая должна состояться в мае в Бразилии.
По мнению политика, в воздухе еще витает духИгр«Мы вместе. Спорт», которые прошли недавно в Ханты-Мансийске. А раз наших глухих и слабослышащих атлетов не допускают до соревнований за рубежом, надо провести свои.
У Югры, между прочим, уже был опыт проведения зимних Сурдлимпийских игр, но для летних стартов сенатор предложил бы другой российский регион. «Там есть гольф, у нас поля нет. Там, вообще, намного больше спортивных дисциплин и наш регион все-таки больше для зимних видов спорта», – прокомментировал Исаков.
Что ж, возможно, проведение такого мероприятия будет интересно южным регионам России.
