1 февраля в столице Омана Маскате состоялась торжественная церемония открытия выставки «Дары Хивы и Бухары Российскому Императорскому дому» из собрания Государственного Эрмитажа, посвящённая дипломатическим практикам и обмену дарами.
На выставке представлены семь предметов из собрания Государственного Эрмитажа, которые в разное время были привезены в Петербург посольскими миссиями в качестве подарков от имени хивинских и бухарских правителей.
