Депутаты одобрили закон об убийстве бродячих собак большинством голосов. Об этом сообщил канал «Горно-Алтайск».

Власти создадут в республике пункты временного размещения бездомных животных. Их будут держать там по 11 дней. По истечении срока, собак будут отправлять в приюты при наличии мест или убивать.

Местные зоозащитники перед заседанием вышли на пикеты против принятия закона.

В ноябре эвтаназию для бездомных собак ввели в Бурятии. Животным будет грозить смерть, если им за месяц не найдут хозяев.
