Когда контакт налажен, аферисты рассказывают о вымышленных мерах поддержки и направляют ссылку на приложение. Там вирус, который сразу же запрашивает доступ к контактам и смс. Затем приложение просит запомнить анкету с личными данными и мошенники получают доступ ко всем счетам.
От этой схемы пострадало уже больше 230 бойцов СВО и членов их семей. Общий ущерб приблизился к 13 млн рублей.

On Telegram’s website, it says that Pavel Durov “supports Telegram financially and ideologically while Nikolai (Duvov)’s input is technological.” Currently, the Telegram team is based in Dubai, having moved around from Berlin, London and Singapore after departing Russia. Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands. The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels. A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts.
