Это будет любимым место россиян», - сказал Ткачев в Кавминводах на одной из сессий первого Кавказского инвестиционного форума По словам Ткачева, создание аэропорта в Черкесске позволит также привлекать иностранных туристов. «Уже проработали этот вопрос с Минэкономразвития. Это единственная республика на Северном Кавказе, у которой турпоток превышает более чем в четыре раза население самой республики. Население — полмиллиона, а турпоток в «Архыз» сегодня 2 миллиона человек. И нет собственного аэропорта, хотя прогнозируемый туристический поток в республику до 2030 года будет 4 миллиона человек», —добавил он.
