1) бля, надо народ на работе завтра успокаивать, чтобы работа хоть как-то шла 2) пора исполнять приготовленный мной и @coweram план по переезду на селфхост/отечественную инфраструктуру
Я на своей работе пережил первый, самый внезапный, удар санкций (тупо заранее подготовившись), а потом просто с попкорном смотрел как бегают всякие дядьки из больших компаний в панике, потому что у них слак отвалился.... До сих пор горжусь этим опытом, как одним из самых ценных в моей карьере. Простой на работе — ноль дней.

You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. But because group chats and the channel features are not end-to-end encrypted, Galperin said user privacy is potentially under threat. In 2014, Pavel Durov fled the country after allies of the Kremlin took control of the social networking site most know just as VK. Russia's intelligence agency had asked Durov to turn over the data of anti-Kremlin protesters. Durov refused to do so. But Telegram says people want to keep their chat history when they get a new phone, and they like having a data backup that will sync their chats across multiple devices. And that is why they let people choose whether they want their messages to be encrypted or not. When not turned on, though, chats are stored on Telegram's services, which are scattered throughout the world. But it has "disclosed 0 bytes of user data to third parties, including governments," Telegram states on its website.
