Хорватия передаст Украине 30 танков M-84 и 30 БМП M-80 — Министр обороны Хорватии Иван Анушич.

Поставка может быть осуществлена до конца года в рамках "кольцевого обмена" с ФРГ. На полученные от этого из Германии средства Хорватия планирует закупить до 50 танков Leopard 2A8. Помимо танков и БМП, из Хорватии для ВСУ также будут переданы запчасти и боеприпасы.

На вооружении Хорватии состоят югославские танки M-84 в модификации M-84A4 Snajper (Снайпер) с обновленной СУО, стабилизатором и лазерным дальномером, однако вовсе без динамической защиты. Боевые машины пехоты же представлены стандартными М-80А c 20-мм автопушкой, ранее уже поставляемые ВСУ.

Передаваемой техники хватит чтобы полностью укомплектовать два батальона: танковый и механизированный.
