Сегодня утром на танкере «Koala», находящемся в порту Усть-Луга Ленинградской области, при подготовке к работе главного двигателя по предварительным данным произошел взрыв в машинном отделении, из-за чего экипаж был вынужден эвакуироваться на берег. Грузовые резервуары судна не повреждены, происшествие не повлекло за собой разлива груза либо утечки нефтепродуктов, никто из членов экипажа не пострадал.
Сейчас судно находится у причала в порту Усть-Луга, угрозы затопления танкера нет.
Вокруг танкера установлены боновые ограждения, идет подготовка к обследованию подводной части судна.
Уполномоченными службами проводится расследование инцидента.
