Если в номере книги 10 знаков, то она выпущена до 2007 года (у меня на фото внизу стопки).
Современный же номер ISBN состоит из 13 знаков, в нем 5 частей:
1️⃣ Цифры 978 или 979 — это код товара, он означает «книги». 2️⃣ Код страны (у меня: 5 — Россия, 0 — англоязычная страна). 3️⃣ Код издателя (например, на книге в середине 91671 — издательство Альпина Нон-фикшн). 4️⃣ Порядковый номер издания. 5️⃣ Контрольная цифра.
Чем короче код издательства и длиннее номер издания, тем издательство крупнее.

The last couple days have exemplified that uncertainty. On Thursday, news emerged that talks in Turkey between the Russia and Ukraine yielded no positive result. But on Friday, Reuters reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin said there had been some “positive shifts” in talks between the two sides. And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations. On Telegram’s website, it says that Pavel Durov “supports Telegram financially and ideologically while Nikolai (Duvov)’s input is technological.” Currently, the Telegram team is based in Dubai, having moved around from Berlin, London and Singapore after departing Russia. Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands. "Markets were cheering this economic recovery and return to strong economic growth, but the cheers will turn to tears if the inflation outbreak pushes businesses and consumers to the brink of recession," he added.
