В ходе СВО армии РФ на Украине погибли Виталий Корнышев (Моздок), Давид Салагаев (Сурх-Дигора), Сослан Пагаев (Владикавказ), Александр Золоев, Георгий Икаев (Цхинвал).

На сегодняшний день известны имена 723 уроженцев Осетии, погибших в ходе СВО.
