Книга считается классикой австралийской литературы для детей, по ней снят фильм. Дружба человека с животным - это всегда неимоверно трогательно. Но в книге ценно не только это. У автора потрясающий язык. Он не всегда простой, до него нужно тянуться, но именно этим он прекрасен.
