Власти Приморья собираются снять с трех территорий статус городского округа. Соответствующий законопроект был внесен на рассмотрение депутатов Законодательного собрания края. В случае принятия Партизанский, Лесозаводский и Дальнегорский городские округа станут муниципальными.
Статус городского округа подразумевает, что плотность населения данной территории в 2024 году должна составлять не менее 42,5 человека на кв. км. Согласно пояснительной записке к законопроекту, указанные выше территории этому требованию не соответствуют.
По данным Приморскстата, численность населения Дальнегорского ГО на 1 января 2024 года составляла 38,5 тыс. человек (плотность населения 7,21 чел./кв. км), Лесозаводского – 39,6 тыс. (12,95 чел./кв. км), Партизанского – 39,1 тыс. (30,37 чел./кв. км). Причем население в муниципалитетах сокращается – за последние 10 лет Дальнегорск и Лесозаводск потеряли по 4,9 тыс. жителей, Партизанск – 6,5 тыс.

A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. And indeed, volatility has been a hallmark of the market environment so far in 2022, with the S&P 500 still down more than 10% for the year-to-date after first sliding into a correction last month.
