Согласно документу, усыплять будут «агрессивных и невостребованных» собак после нахождения в пунктах временного содержания более 30 дней. Если есть «признаки» того, что у пса есть владелец, его могут держать в приюте до полугода, после чего также усыпят, если не найдут владельцев.
Глава ветеринарной службы края Андрей Лим счел, что «нет смысла пожизненно держать животных, которые проявляют немотивированную агрессию и представляют угрозу как для сотрудников приюта, так и для волонтеров, других посетителей». Депутат Михаил Якимов отметил, что «самое главное – жизнь человека, а потом уже все остальное».
Ранее усыплять проявивших агрессию бездомных животных разрешили в Республике Алтай.
