Skoda Group начала производство пятисекционных трамваев для Бергамо

Компания приступила к сборке первого низкопольного двунаправленного трамвая платформы ForCity Classic на заводе в Пльзене. Все 10 заказанных итальянских городом машин планируется запустить в сентябре 2026 года.

ForCity Classic длиной 32 м будет опираться на три неповоротные тележки, две из которых планируется оснастить тяговыми электродвигателями. Подвижной состав должен вмещать 239 пассажиров и развивать максимальную скорость 70 км/ч.

Skoda Group заявляет, что это будут первые в ее линейке трамваи, оснащенные системой предотвращения столкновений. Кроме того, двери планируется оборудовать автоматическими выдвижными аппарелями для маломобильных граждан.

Консорциум с участием Skoda Group весной 2023 года был выбран оператором TEB для строительства трамвайной линии T2 между городами Бергамо и Вилла-д’Альме. Заказ стоимостью €176 млн включил поставку 10 трамваев и их обслуживание в течение трех лет.
