An diesem Samstag kommt die #AfD-Chefin und -Kanzlerkandidatin Alice #Weidel nach Halle zur Wahlkampfveranstaltung der AfD. Am Hauptbahnhof haben sich bereits hunderte Gegendemonstranten zum Protestzug zur Messe versammelt. Die Polizei ist mit einem Großaufgebot vor Ort.

Neben der Halle-Messe hat die Polizei bereits Augenzeugen zufolge knapp 20 Gegendemonstranten in Gewahrsam genommen, die meisten vermummt. Sie wollten offenbar die Anreise der AfD-Anhänger zum Auftritt von Weidel verhindern. Verschiedene Gruppen versuchten auch, die Polizei zu überlisten, um an die Halle zu gelangen oder Zufahrten zu blockieren.

The account, "War on Fakes," was created on February 24, the same day Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a "special military operation" and troops began invading Ukraine.
