این شرکت پیشتر اعلام کرده بود که برنج درجه یک باسماتی ۱۱۲۱ هندی را به ارزش ۶۰ میلیون یورو وارد کشور خواهد کرد اما با واردات برنج بی کیفیت تقلبی به ارزش ۲۷ میلیون یورو، فساد ۳۳ میلیون یورویی در این قرارداد صورت گرفته است.
