Депутаты Курганской областной думы 26 ноября утвердили закон о «защите беременных женщин от склонения к искусственному прерыванию беременности». Об этом сообщили местные СМИ.
Согласно нововведениям, штрафы для граждан составят от 5 до 10 тысяч рублей, для иностранных граждан — от 10 до 20 тысяч, для должностных лиц — от 25 до 50 тысяч, а для юридических лиц — от 100 до 200 тысяч рублей.
Инициатором закона выступил курганский «Союз православных женщин», объяснивший его необходимость защитой от «гибридной войны против России».
Аналогичные меры ранее приняли в 14 других регионах страны. Накануне законопроект о штрафах за «склонение к абортам» внесли на рассмотрение в Астраханской области и Марий Эл.
