О том, что единоросса Калинина задержали в наркотическом опьянении, пишет Chita.Ru. В пресс-службе УМВД России по Забайкальскому краю завили, что «не обладают информацией» о том, был ли остановлен и задержан водитель Евгений Калинин, который находился в состоянии опьянения за рулем в Чите.
Сам Калинин отказался отвечать на вопросы журналистов о своём задержании, бросив трубку.
«Информации о наличии оснований для прекращения полномочий депутата Калинина Е. С. в Думе городского округа "Город Чита" не имеется», — заявили в Гордуме Читы.
