По словам назначенного Россией главы региона Евгения Балицкого, выброс мазута с потерпевших крушение танкеров «Волгонефти» зафиксирован теперь и на украинском побережье Азовского моря. На Бердянской косе, сообщил Балицкий, обнаружен загрязненный участок протяженностью 14,5 км.

Ликвидация загрязнений будет проводиться силами сотрудников МЧС, сотрудников администраций муниципальных образований и волонтеров.
