Чай на даче

Отпели, отмучились ржавые петли дверей –
сарайчики-баньки ушли на покой до весны.
Поедем, поедем. Чайку на дорожку согрей.
Попьём да посмотрим на жёлтые пятна листвы.

Вот видишь – как лето ни нянькай, а лето ушло.
Дымы выцветают над крышами зябнущих дач.
Бельё на верёвке пытается встать на крыло.
Черно и прощально на ветке сутулится грач.

Я думаю, мам, оттого так печален сентябрь,
что небо прошито дождём и саднит этот шов,
и облачки пара, от губ отрываясь, летят,
как будто бы я привыкаю прощаться с душой.

В такой арифметике спутаны цифры и суть:
хоть лет прибавляется, лето опять вычитай…
А птицы летят, не тревожа небесную ртуть,
цепляя крылами холодный заоблачный край…

Я думаю, мам, оттого так печален сентябрь,
