Омбудсмен встретила борт ВКС России с детьми на аэродроме Чкаловский. Дети пройдут медобследование в федеральной клинике и социальную реабилитацию в одном из московских центров. После этого они встретятся с родственниками, у которых будут жить под опекой.
С 2018 года из Сирии, Ирака, Пакистана и Турции возвращены 546 российских детей.
