В Мариуполе открыли памятник Александру Невскому. В церемонии принял участие губернатор города-побратима Петербурга Александр Беглов.

В основании памятника закреплена подкова, освященная на мощах святого праведного князя.

«Александр Невский для всего православного мира является защитником – и защитником России. И я думаю, что с открытием этого памятника мирное небо над Мариуполем будет всегда», – сказал губернатор.
