Территория обновляется благодаря нацпроекту «Жилье и городская среда». Проект парка в прошлом году попал в число лучших по итогам Всероссийского конкурса. На преображение территории выделено около 100 млн рублей.
Парк будет представлять собой пространственную линию из двух троп — спортивной и прогулочно-исследовательской. Первую обустроят для велосипедистов и бегунов, а на второй сформируют опытный парк и музей под открытым небом. Вдоль тропы появятся детские площадки, террасы для отдыха, пикника и созерцания. Проект разрабатывался с учётом пожеланий жителей.
Оценить в полной мере проделанную работу горожане смогут уже в следующем году.
