Авария на Маяке 1957 года ❗️В очередную годовщину аварии на ПО «Маяк» в Челябинской области (29 сентября 1957 года) хотелось бы вернуться к ее последствиям и современному состоянию проблемы обращения с радиоактивными отходами. ❗️Напомним, что 29 сентября 1957 года, в 16 ч 22 мин взорвалась одна из емкостей с высокоактивными радиоактивными отходами.💥 Из емкости в результате теплового взрыва были выброшены радионуклиды общей активностью 20 млн. Кu. В зоне воздействия радиоактивнго облака оказались 217 населенных пунктов с общей численностью населения 272 тыс. человек. 📍В настоящее время ПО «Маяк» ежегодно сбрасывает жидкие радиоактивные отходы (РАО) в окружающую природную среду. Так, согласно данным самого Мяка за 2022 предприятием осуществлялся сброс жидких отходов, в том числе и радиоактивных, в размере 5,815 млн м3. 🛢Кроме жидких РАО на производствах Маяка образуется большое количество твердых РАО. И с каждым годом количество таких РАО только возрастает.

Right now the digital security needs of Russians and Ukrainians are very different, and they lead to very different caveats about how to mitigate the risks associated with using Telegram. For Ukrainians in Ukraine, whose physical safety is at risk because they are in a war zone, digital security is probably not their highest priority. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders. On December 23rd, 2020, Pavel Durov posted to his channel that the company would need to start generating revenue. In early 2021, he added that any advertising on the platform would not use user data for targeting, and that it would be focused on “large one-to-many channels.” He pledged that ads would be “non-intrusive” and that most users would simply not notice any change. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. Telegram does offer end-to-end encrypted communications through Secret Chats, but this is not the default setting. Standard conversations use the MTProto method, enabling server-client encryption but with them stored on the server for ease-of-access. This makes using Telegram across multiple devices simple, but also means that the regular Telegram chats you’re having with folks are not as secure as you may believe. In view of this, the regulator has cautioned investors not to rely on such investment tips / advice received through social media platforms. It has also said investors should exercise utmost caution while taking investment decisions while dealing in the securities market.
