Именно она представила начинающего живописца своему выдающемуся отцу. Виноградов несколько раз бывал в гостях у семьи писателя в Ясной Поляне: в 1911 году он сделал цветными карандашами несколько рисунков, запечатлев на них пейзажи усадьбы и ее хозяев за повседневными домашними делами.
На выставке "Первое и главное: хочу побольше любить", посвященной жизни и творчеству Татьяны Сухотиной-Толстой, представлен рисунок Сергея Виноградова "Татьяна Львовна Сухотина-Толстая за работой", сделанный 4 июня 1911 года.
