1/(1-4z+z^2+zx+z/x) нужно взять коэффициент при z^n.
рисуем такую картинку, надо чтобы везде кроме одной точки функция была дискретно гармонической
0 0 0 1 0 0 -1 -8 0 1 4 17 ... 0 0 -1 -8 0 0 0 1
А там утверждается, что это то же самое, что
Number of peaks at odd level in all Schroeder paths (i.e., consisting of steps U=(1,1),D=(1,-1),H=(2,0) and never going below the x-axis) from (0,0) to (2n+2,0).
с производящей функцией
1/((1-z)*sqrt(1-6*z+z^2))
В списке конструкций Delannoy numbers вроде такой биекции нет. В общем, было бы круто заполнить gap, может это очевидно на самом деле...
Как из одной производящей функции (от двух переменных) получить другую (от одной), я не знаю. UPD: А Федя сразу посчитал.
